From Fr. Streitenberger

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

As Christians, God should rightly be the center of our lives. Prayer, as our connecting with God, should play a central role in our lives. Just as gravity draws a smaller moon to revolve around a larger planet, so prayer allows us to revolve around our ultimate Center, God. By prayer, we keep more focused on our center, God. By setting aside even fifteen to twenty minutes a day to pray, we are able to reconnect with God. Let us resolve to make prayer a part of our daily lives and to keep God as our center. Likewise, our families too, should find their centers in God. Let us resolve to make prayer a part of our families, with God as our families’ center. As we begin this series on prayer, let us keep inmind that God is a friend and Father inviting us to pray, converse, and connect with Him.

In Jesus through Mary,
