From Fr. Kitsmiller

Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

This is Trinity Sunday in the liturgical life of the Church. We are reminded that our God is three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The personhood of God reminds us that the Father created us to be in relationship with another and with Him for eternity. When we were baptized in the name of the Trinity, we were immersed into the family of God, becoming His sons and daughters and gaining countless brothers and sisters in Christ. We become members of an eternal family, a family in which we are never forgotten and always loved by God. Whenever we make the sign of the cross, we remind ourselves of this reality and the blessings that God bestows upon us.

On Friday, June 28th, at 6:00 p.m., we celebrate our parish feast day, the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Bishop Brennan will be here, as well former priests of the parish. There will be a potluck supper to follow. I hope you can join us.

Happy Father’s Day to all you dads! May God bless your vocation and may your fatherhood be a reflection of our loving and caring Father in heaven!

Have a blessed week!
