From Fr. Pierre

Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

After reading or hearing the Gospel of this Sunday (Mark 3:20- 35), I encourage you to close your eyes for a moment and picture the following two scenes:

  • A real home filled with loving solidarity and warm hospitality, where faithful disciples and devoted crowed gathered with the Virgin Mary around Jesus to share with Him a heartfelt fellowship and to hear His words.
  • A divided house jammed with division and overflowing with hostility, where Satan is ruling generating plunder, fight, abuse, destruction and the like.

Big difference, right?!

The Last verse of this passage: “for whoever does the will of God is my brother and sister and mother” invites us to meditate upon the merits of the Mystery of Incarnation, through which Jesus grants us the privilege of becoming Children of God and members of His Family. Thus, it is our responsibility and mission to continue what Jesus has started: Doing the will of the Father and preserving the values of His household, especially Love and Unity.

God bless your hearts.
