Stand Against Violence Week

Stand Against Violence Week is January 15-22. In 1994, the U.S. Catholic Bishops issued a pastoral letter titled “Confronting a Culture of Violence: A Catholic Framework for Action.” As a response to the pastoral letter, parishes and dioceses across the United States are called to focus on peacemaking and policy efforts against violence January 15-22.
