From Fr. Lonzo's Desk

My brothers and sisters,

Today’s Gospel speaks of the need for humility in our lives; a virtue and characteristic which is often lacking in our world. Yet, we are reminded by Jesus constantly to cultivate a humble heart, which He showed and exemplified in His own life and death upon the Cross. Furthermore, as we look to the lives of the saints throughout history, from Mary all the way to modern times, as we prepare to celebrate the canonization of Mother Teresa of Calcutta, we see how humility formed the faith of these great disciples. May we continue to open our hearts in humility to God’s grace and mercy in our journey of Faith. Have a great week!
